I don't understand what's painful and limiting about saving Maker as HTML. Ugly, you bet (so you have to fix that... big deal). But painful and limiting??? I use Maker HTML all the time -- With minor massages I get it to combine with DoxyGen output and create HTML or CHM help that's much more streamlined (read, 1/2 to 1/4 of the final bits) than RoboHelp or WebWorks, and much more stable to work with than RoboHelp.
