I was in a customer meeting a few years ago and our team was going around the table introducing themselves as systems engineer, software engineer, etc., so when it got to me I introduced myself as documentation engineer. LOL!
That is a great one!
Maybe I'll use that on the résumé. I'm sure it could start a conversation.
Interviewer: "What's a 'documentation engineer'?"
Me: "It's a technical writer."
I: "Why don't you just call yourself a technical writer?"
M: "Because no one knows what it is."
