To find things at downloads.cnet.com, you just have to use their many filtering options ("Narrow your results") wisely. For instance, I searched for "screen capture" and then narrowed hundreds of results by setting Category to System Utilities, OS to Vista, and License Type to Free. That returned 22 results.
Sorted by Editors' Rating, the 2nd one is Gadwin PrintScreen. It's certainly a 32-bit program, since it's listed as compatible with every version of Windows back to 95.
That said, most screen capture programs offer similar core features and produce essentially the same results. I suspect you could pick any of the first half-dozen in the list and it would do what you need to do. Unless you're obsessive-compulsive, it's not strictly necessary that you use the same program as your coworker.
