Boeing has always been low ball, even when times were good. And they want all the bells and whistles, FrameMaker, etc. proficiency, the ability to read engineering drawings, fly by wire, all while standing on their heads. Depending on what recruiter you talk to, the rate varies about $5.

AMEX, BOA, Wells Fargo, and other big firms are just as low ball. Used to be I wouldn't go out of the house for less than $40, how times have changed.

In the Phoenix metro area rates four years ago were in the $60-$125 area. Today they range $25-50, the high end if you're very lucky and you can get a job.
