A few more Platoisms:
"This list has plenty of morons, including me."
"That's me - arrogant and uninformed. I am your next boss!"
"Embrace the awe-inspiring power of Delete."

Plato, I wouldn't work for you for all the gold in China, but I hope you
stay on TECHWR-L!

Well, 10 years is a bit of an exaggeration. A quick search of the
techwr-l site turned up a post from about 8-1/2 years ago
(http://lists.techwr-l.com/archives/0304/techwhirl-0304-00349.html), and
a number of more recent posts in which your name was invoked by others.
There may be a few more recent posts than that, but this was a pretty
good one in which said such things as:
"Truth is a relative concept. Just because you, personally, disagree
with your employer's methods, technologies, or designs, doesn't mean
they are wrong. What you see as errors may very well be correct."
and
"It's never possible to create error-free docs. Errors are normal.
That's not the point. The point is accepting responsibility for those
errors."
and
"Blame is the product of unprofessionalism. Blame is about shirking
responsibility. It's an attempt to justify failures. Failure is not a
bad thing.
And the largest difference between pros and amateurs is how they handle
failure. A pro sees failure as a chance to learn, grow, and improve. An
amateur sees failure as a chance to blame, justify, and excuse."
