Hi, everyone. Yes, the person is a connection and I sent the request through Linked-In.
I did upload a resume long ago but have manually tweaked my listings from within Linked-In more recently. Linked-In thinks I need to upload a resume, even though I've already done it.
I guess I'll do it again. Or does it mean Linked-In wants me to attach an actual file, like a PDF?

Try to edit your profile, and tweak the entries in your work history, which is what your resume becomes. Updating the relevant entry (and saving the changes) may be enough to reset the section and get the "Recommend Nancy" link back where it beongs.
