Subject:Re: what doc formats do READERs want ? From:Tony Chung <tonyc -at- tonychung -dot- ca> To:Ruth Sessions <ruthsessions03051 -at- yahoo -dot- com> Date:Tue, 13 Dec 2011 18:11:17 -0800
I disagree. Steve Jobs made a living telling the customers what they
want. Of course, he also backed it up with a lot of research.
So, try to get first hand experience job shadowing the people who use
your material, and work out a solution that will help them to do their
jobs more easily. The public doesn't know what they need, and we can't
produce formats in a vacuum.
And PS: Everyone--trim the quoted portion of your emails. The Techwr-L
footer appeared three times in this message.
Thanks,
