Everyone's throwing buzzword phrases at you. But if your boss doesn't know what you're doing, I doubt if he or she will get a clear picture (or maybe any picture) from one of those phrases. They don't _explain_ anything.
Why not just use the second and third sentences of your post? That's an _explanation_.
