If it's truly a *side* effect, I'd put it in a note or caution, depending on how idiosyncratic the behavior is and how disruptive the result might be to a normal workflow.

But whether it's a side effect or more of an intended effect, I'd probably write something like "Pressing enter causes [or "also causes"] changes to be saved."
