TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
My employer is paying for me to attend a three day info mapping course, and as the days approach
I suddenly feel a bit apprehensive. I heard there was an exam. What should I expect? It sounds great but I want to do well also. Thoughts?

Anyone, and I mean anyone, who replies to the off-topic tangents and rants
that have shown up on this thread will be moderated. Do not chastise, do
not defend, and above do not continue this. It has nothing to do with
technical communications; it's extraordinarily unprofessional; it's
offending quite a few people on the list; and it's beginning to make me
extremely annoyed. I assure you THAT is not a good thing.
Please return to technical communications topics, including
the original topic on this thread--we have plenty enough on-topic stuff to
argue about.
