Subject:Generating documentation for XML schema files From:Cheryl Magadieu <cmagadieu -at- gmail -dot- com> To:TechWR-L <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Fri, 20 Jan 2012 12:16:00 -0500
One of the developers here plans to generate documentation for XML schema
files about APIs defined in XSDs. He's looking for suggestions for tools
that generate XML schema documentation. Some of the ideas that have been
tossed around are the XML Schema Documenter from CodePlex ( http://xsddoc.codeplex.com/), DocFlex/XML XSDDoc ( http://www.filigris.com/products/docflex_xml/xsddoc/), and XMLSpy ( http://www.altova.com/xmlspy/xml-schema-editor.html). Do you have any
experience using these tools--or any other ones--to generate XML schema
documentation? If so, which tool would you recommend?
