Re: iBooks Author
Apologies for cross-posting, but thought this might be of interest to tech writers creating e-books for iPad:
Apple has just released a free e-book publishing app for authors called iBooks Author. It's in the OS X app store (not the iOS App store). To run it you need a Mac OS X machine, but its very simple (drag and drop layout) and powerful (can contain multimedia as well as text and graphics) and lets you develop your e-book product specifically for iPad and iBooks.
