It's at home, so I can't be certain, but I think it was the Toshiba Portege. And it's an i3, not an i5, with 128GB solid state drive, not 160GB.
The only downside so far is the lack of a dvd drive, but it more than serves her purposes and is fast, silent, cool (temperature-wise), and extraordinarily light. I believe the 2.5lb stated weight includes the power brick.
I'm waiting for my HP desktop replacement (which is only fast) to fail so I can buy one just like hers.

If we may ask, which ultralight notebook did she choose?

My wife got an iPad for Christmas for just the same uses, but because of the prevalence of Flash on some of her "functional" websites (i.e., banking and finance sites) and the lack of support for a real iteration of RoboForm, she went with an ultralight notebook - plenty of processing power (i5 Core) and enough drive space (160GB), and it's almost as light as the iPad. Cost about $50 more.
She's a dedicated Windows person, though, and I think that played into the decision.
