You can do more than dual-boot Macs.
Macs' built-in boot loader, BootCamp, only permits you to run MacOSX or
2 (if lucky) versions of Windows, v.current and v.last.
With rEFIt, an open source alternative boot loader for Mac EFI systems,
you can boot multiple OSes. Besides enabling MacOSX and Windows, rEFIt
lets you also boot Linux, FreeBSD, or nearly any other OS. As well as
making it easier to boot from thumbdrive-based Live distros, that aren't
installed onto main hard drive.
So, Macs are much more powerful once you add rEFIt. :-)
