RE: Windows Search alternatives

Didn't it get withdrawn because a bunch of companies forbade 
employees to have it, on the grounds that it gave a certain 
giant search company an inside look at other people's business 
and secrets?  Or they thought it did, which is just as fatal 
to adoption of a piece of software.
