As far as I understand, togglers are useful when the text you want to show/hide is not placed immediately after the hotspot. for example, you have a set of bullets, each of which has a more in-depth explanation. Now, you want all the bullets to always be together, and the expanding text to show below the last bullet. That would be a good case for togglers. Not that I've used them much, but did try them once.
Flare is pretty much my major authoring/editing tool. I get a lot of use out of Expanding Text and Dropdown Text. I can't say I've done much, if anything, with Togglers.
Can anybody provide their rationale for choosing one hide-me/show-me option over another? Any particular advantages that serve in certain circumstances, and less-so in others?
Thanks,
-k
