I'm curious about what you mean by "works fine." Is the PDFMaker add-in installed into the Office applications, making the Acrobat menu available? Or do you just mean you can print to the Adobe PDF printer?
FWIW, Adobe says the Acrobat 9 version of PDFMaker is _not_ supported in Office 2010, either 32-bit or 64-bit. See:
