Except that Word *does* have a Keep with Next feature, it's just
pretty well hidden. I've actually got the Paragraph Keep with Next
check box in my ribbon, because it's one of the few overrides that I
use with any regularity in Word. I'm in Word 2007, so YMMV in other
versions of Word.
You can get to the Paragraph dialog box either by
- clicking the arrow next to the word "paragraph" on the Home tab,
OR
- by right-clicking a Style in the Styles pane, selecting Modify, and
then selecting "Paragraph" from the Format menu.
In the Paragraph dialog box, click the Line and Page Breaks tab.
There is a Keep with Next check box.
