Someone who wrote to me offline apparently took the two-by-four joke
seriously. I was kidding about that!

But I was taught by the best, and here's one thing I learned: When
you're typing, you work faster when you keep your hands on the keyboard.
When you're mostly using a mouse (e.g., for drawing charts), you work
faster when you keep your hand on the mouse.

("And your eyes on the screen, Grasshopper!" [smack])

At my kids' encouragement, I downloaded and played with Chrome a little.
Years ago, my tech-writing sensei would smack my hand with a two-by-four
whenever I reached for the mouse, so I'm pretty keyboard-centric. After
a brief review, I find Chrome to be very mouse-oriented, so I give it
one (mashed) thumb down. YMMV.
