My bet is that after that last LinkedIn system breach people went in and
adjusted their privacy settings. You're seeing the result of tightened
settings. Probably a bit of over-reaction. I don't recall making a
change to that one.

Yes, I see that, and know that I can pay to see more details. But my
question was why I used to see many people's details anyway and now I'm
not.
I was wondering if it was just what Gene said (more people are choosing
to mask their info) or some change that LinkedIn had made to the default
behavior.
