*Collaborate on Documentation in Atlassian Confluence with Talk Plugin***
Are you looking for an easy and efficient way to collaborate on
documentation in Atlassian Confluence? Talk Plugin will bring your team
communication process to a higher level.
Talk is a plugin that enables you to insert in-text comments and add
embedded discussions anywhere on Confluence pages. It productively combines
the advantages of both instant messengers and email and helps your team to
get itself connected.
Talk Plugin is a great tool for improving the cooperation between technical
writers and other development team members in Confluence. Sometimes, you
might need help when documenting complicated features. Add your comments
right in the text that needs to be clarified. Using the @mention function
will notify your colleagues that you need their assistance and wiki markup
will make your notes more expressive.
Posting answers is as easy and fast as sending a message in a chat and
requires just a few seconds. With automatic email notifications, you will
always stay informed about new comments, even if you joined a discussion
started by someone else.
However long a discussion may be, you can easily follow it, as all
corresponding comments form up a discussion thread aside, so the page
content is not overlapped. Edit your comment, if you want to put it
differently or correct a typo. Delete irrelevant comments to keep
discussions compact.
Reviewing documentation using the default Confluence commenting feature can
be tiresome. Why bother copy-pasting parts of documentation to email,
instant messengers or standard Confluence comments, if you can add as many
in-text remarks as you want without making a mess of the page. Navigate
easily through them by clicking Talk icons on the page and highlighting
corresponding discussion threads. When the discussed issue is settled,
remove the whole discussion from the page just with a couple of clicks and
focus on the next problem.
