If you're a member of the HATT (Help Authoring Tools & techniques) Yahoo Group, be sure to post and let them know, too. Or join up and then let them know. Hiring managers hang out there.
If you're on LinkedIn, it might be a good idea to post a message that contains a link to your LinkedIn page, Twitter feed, etc.
Make it easier for people find you faster.

Well, I suppose writers are some of the first to go. I was laid off at the end of the day Thursday due to fiscal reasons. I would appreciate it if anyone could connect me with anyone who may be able to help me in my search or if you would be so generous as to share any leads. I am located in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocating is not an option at this time.
