I've found that when a company asks you to be completely honest in your feedback to them, they don't mean they are receptive to it.
John Chambers of Cisco Systems was famous for his touring a building with ice cream in exchange for feedback. Eventually, he quit that and started online surveys.
The online surveys were the kiss of death if you answered them in any way even slightly critical of the company or John.

I don't know if that is why they kept her or not. I'm only guessing. I have other reasons to suspect they let me go, which they might actually get in trouble for. For one, I'm a tad suspicious that it was a week after their first ever employee survey results came out. It was supposedly anonymous, but I still kept my responses a tad guarded since the company was so small (37 people?) it would be easy to identify people.
