Re: When I PDF a Word document with an embedded object...
Hi, guys...I thought this would be a no-brainer.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I create a Word document in Word 10. I embed a spreadsheet into the Word
doc (Insert > Object > Object > Create from File > Display as Icon), then
locate the file and embed it. I can then click the icon in the Word doc and
the Excel launches just fine. I can email the Word doc to someone else and
they can launch it fine.
Now,. I save the Word doc as a PDF. In the PDF, the embedded icon now turns
to an image icon and doesn't launch anything.
Am I missing something?
Thanks
