Subject:OT: Book recommendation ~ Android for newbies? From:Chris Morton <salt -dot- morton -at- gmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Tue, 5 Mar 2013 14:30:48 -0800
Can anyone suggest the best intro to Android book for a technophobic user?
After careful deliberation, I bought my wife a top-of-the-line Asus tablet
for Christmas. Our visiting son upgraded its OS to Jellybean, but both she
and I are complete tablet newbies.
I've long been under-the-hood with DOS and Windows, so can coach her, but
I'm really looking for a dummies-style book without all of the dross and
stupid humor.
Thanks
