Friends and experts,
In unix I can remove extra spaces from a plain text file using a sed
command like
sed s/' \{2\}/ '/g
and then outputting the result to a new file.
I'm not seeing a similar function in the macros list for Word for Mac 2008.
Disappointingly (but not unsurprisingly), Word's help returns "0 topics
found" for the search string 'remove extra spaces'. ; \
Any help much appreciated.
Best
