FM's UI has never been especially attractive visually, but it was
consistent through many early releases, and across multiple platforms, so
little retraining was needed when upgrading FM or changing platforms. By
comparison, UIs in recent FM releases have become confusing. From early on,
almost all FM operations could be performed from the keyboard. With the
exceptions of those keyboard shortcuts that became broken in recent new
releases, and aren't fixed yet, much of FM is still "keyboardable."

Peter
