TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
The interview went well. It was a series of relatively short conversations,
none of which involved in-depth discussion of technical knowledge as I had
feared. I walked away feeling good about it. How justified that good
feeling was remains to be seen. I'm hoping to hear about an "update" in
the next day or two.
In the meantime, I have another interview tomorrow, with a similar format..
I'll post an update if there's any news to report.
William, congratulations on your new position!

Thanks!
So how did the interview go?

> HireRight still couldn't do it.

> The new job was quick. Friday a phone interview, Tuesday in person since
> Monday was tied up, and Wednesday morning they made the offer. Their
> background check took a day.
