App and icon names in Win7/Win8 french language packs?
Subject:App and icon names in Win7/Win8 french language packs? From:"John Bartol" <johnbartol -at- jaggedpeak -dot- ca> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 14 May 2013 14:54:29 -0700
I'm hoping someone in the group has Win 7 and/or Win 8 running with French
language pack installed - my GoogleFu is sorely lacking lately.
In a nutshell. I need to find out what the following items look like in
Windows 7/Windows 8 with French language pack installed.
Win7: "Windows Explorer" - same name, or different?
Win8: "File Explorer" - same name, or different?
Both: Click the signal icon in system tray, click name of a wireless
network. In English, the button says "Connect". I *think* it's "Connecter"
in French, but have been given a couple of different wordings - "Se
Connecter" and "Connexion".
Thanks All.
John
