The beauty of a digital camera is you can see the output immediately and
make adjustments. The problem is most digital camera owners have never used
anything other than the on-camera flash, which creates harsh images. If you
use a friend, make sure they have an external flash and know how to bounce
it.....it gets rid of annoying shadows, harsh lighting, and the dreaded
red-eye.
Disclaimer: I've been a photographer longer than I've been a technical
writer, and I've been writing for over 35 years.
