I agree with whoever said that the chicken and pigs analogy is cute, but is
of limited usefulness.
Speaking of commitment, if the "ham and eggs" restaurant involves a
committed pig and an involved chicken, what if the chicken donates
fertilized eggs to the cause?
This is too silly for me, but the fact that people take this analogy
seriously enough to have seminars and classes where the participants are
required to cluck and oink is way too silly too. (This does occur in the
odd Agile instruction classes.)
The fact is, if all components of the product are needed, then all
participants are involved. No one's life is on the line, so by that
measure, no one is committed!
