Subject: Re: Creating mobile help
I've paid a little attention to development in this area but not enough to really know anything beyond the basics. You may already know the two things I recall about it 1) it needs to be set up as reflowable text and 2) content should be more precise, because of the size of the screen. So you would need to redo/modify any content that would be delivered on regular screen sizes, though I suspect how much would depend on how your standard content is delivered.
Other places you could look for information (in addition to all the linked in tech writing groups) would be purveyors of software used to output mobile help. I know MadCap Flare has that capability, and I'm pretty sure they have free webinars/docs about it on their site. Adobe probably has some of the same for RH or any other tools they're promoting. There are probably a million others ....
Good luck, looking forward to seeing real suggestions :-)

Are any Whirlers creating help suitable for viewing on mobile devices?
I am investigating the possibility of outputting help in a mobile format, and I could use some pointers.
Cordially,
