As tech writers, we don't get a lot of thanks or appreciation I feel.
Usually I feel like I'm annoying the product managers, but I just make a
joke out of it and tell them to stop filtering my emails and get back to me
already :D
Anyway, we finally have professional user's guides for two of our products.
The PM of one of the products sent me (and my team) this:
*"Finally we have the real product manual book! Great job, guys!*
*Now... let’s do some party! :)"*
(Yes, ESL... ;) hence dire need to hire a TW )
...and then one of the higher-ups gave me the last two pieces of a
Toblerone bar, so then someone else gave me a chocolate bar. Apparently I
get to eat when they get nice user's guides. ;)
Happy Turkey Day week
