Instead of scale, I would identify electronics by the transmission of data. Even a teeny, tiny light switch is still electrical. But a computer that uses big, hulking vacuum tubes is electronic.

The difference between electronics and electrical have already been discussed. Electronics implies micro precision scale, electrical implies larger systems. Electronics repair people handle everything from a unit's power supply onwards. Electrical people (electricians) usually handle everything that connects a power supply to the power grid.
