And as a counterpoint, I too have used Word since it was a DOS program. Apple was the best thin that happened to Word. Microsoft failed to correct the most egregious faults in Word or make any improvements that materially improved it's use. They have consistently followed the path of least resistance and ignored the users.
I do not intend this as the opening volley of a tools war, only that I as a user resent a product that i have to fix or create workarounds to make it work as advertised.
