Just on a networked server. We've been storing unstructured Frame files that way for years, and using Frame's file locking. A CCMS will be better but it's not vital.
We'll be using Bluestream xDocs as CCMS. We're waiting for a software upgrade before going live - should be soon.

Thanks for the info Rebecca. Since you don't have the CCMS running yet (which one?), where are you storing your DITA files while you are working on them?
