It's been a while since we did an ergonomics thread, and I just wanted to sing the praises of the AlphaBetter desk that I've been using for the past several months - cheap, sturdy, and comfortable. Also, it's very easy to replace the 36"x24" desktop, if you want something bigger. The "Pendulum Footrest Bar" is intended for antsy schoolchildren, but it's also a great way to keep my back and legs limber while standing.

My only caveat is that the top height is around 42", which might not work as a standing desk for taller Whirlers.
