I have a Mac. QuickTime does a great job. I also bought ScreenFlow in a
bundle. On PC I've settled on FastStone Capture for most of my one-off
work, but would think Camtasia or Snagit Pro would provide more advanced
features.
Also, I explored using Premiere for my final edits to take advantage of the
features lacking in my cheap software.
