For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Iâm recalling a recent thread about part numbers for docs or document numbering schemes, but Iâve been unable to find it in the archives. Does anyone have a pointer to it?
(I do subscribe to other lists, so it mightâve been on one of those. But I havenât found it there, either.)
I did find two older threads that are relevant, but Iâd really like to find the recent discussion.
Thanks!
