browser conundrum - creating live links in Webmail ?

Hello, TechWR-L-ers,

Iâve got a very strange situation with my Webmail. (No, I donât need to use it often, but sometimes I do.) If I use Chrome to write a message (in Earthlink webmail), the URLs do not end up with their expected live hyperlinks. But if  use IE to write a message, from that same Earthlink webmail account, the URLs are correctly hyperlinked.

Does anyone have any idea what browser settings in Chrome might be affecting this?
