No worries. Even if we reach the utopia where all products clearly explain themselves, we'll still be needed for all of the other tech writing tasks, outside of explaining products to the users.

Most of the skills a technical writer needs today are the same as they were 15 years ago and will remain essential to the job until the products are smart enough to explain themselves.
