Facebook pages for STC and Tech Comm are another good idea â hadn't even occurred to me. I'll check out how lively they are.

Linked in and other job boards charge money to post job ads. If you post a job ad to your company website (assuming proper SEO), it should get picked up by Indeed for free. In the past I've generally found good candidates through the Tech Comm groups for Toronto on Facebook (STC and local college groups).
