LinkedIn has some serious problems in design and usability. They'll
have something that's working OK and then make it worse for no
apparent reason.

I think the Preferences on the "Jobs you may be interested in" may
affect the "candidates like you" emails. It's a weird combination of
Location, Seniority, Company Size, and Industry (17 very broad
categories), with no choice for job category.
