Re: Firmware or Firmwares?
Time to settle another debate I'm having with one of the engineers. ...
The only times I have encountered "softwares" has been from people whose native language is not English. Generally their knowledge of some set of rules (from school) is way ahead of their know of "English as she is spoked". Traditionally the classroom English in FarOffLandia follows the FarOffLandian Official Standard English Standard.
Slightly worse is that the spoken version of "correct" FarOffLandian English is not intelligible to most Americans. The Brits, I'm told, have an easier time with it, if the particular FarOffLandia was part of the British Empire.
