I believe you might be able to pick up the chapter title by placing some JavaScript in the master page headers -- I'd look this up on the MadCap Knowledgebase, and it's very likely a copy/paste affair. Or, they might have addressed it in the MadCap Forum. You might even be able to store the JS in a snippet and just drag the snippet into the master page headers.
