TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
To say that I'm miffed is an understatement. First, the traffic on this
list has fallen off dramatically over the past couple of years. You'd think
the moderators would not play with such a heavy hand.
Yes, I have been a frequent contributor to this list. Yes, I used to get a
lot out of it. And yes, I committed an error in posting the job op. But to
be placed in moderator prison because of my innocent mistake is enough to
make me want to unsubscribe. There are other lists where people like us
hang out and post more frequently, thanks.
We'll see how this one flies, but if my membership retains this
restriction, then I'll be left with no other choice.
