TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I don't post much, but I've been part of this list for years - my earliest
was actually under a different name and email. However...
I have come to regard some of the individuals on this list are almost gurus
in my eyes. Chris is one of them. No, I won't name them all. Suffice to say
that one boo boo should not diminish his importance and the contributions
he makes to the list. I'm more bothered by people who leave vacation
auto-responders on, or those whose email addresses require me to do
something unique or special to be "accepted" by the recipient.
I propose we give Chris a "tsk tsk", appreciate how helpful he was trying
to be, release his from moderation hell .. I mean prison, and move on.
