A serious issue I have with Cantasia Snagit is that the Mac and Win products are NOT the same. They treat the files differently, the GUI and work flows are different, and some features that I rely on in Win are completely hidden on the Mac. Where I work I had to switch from Win to a Mac to be compatible with our build environment. Yet I use frameMaker on Windows. And I already have a large catalog of images that use Win features that I can't find on the Mac (polygons, to be precise). So I have to run the software on Mac, capture in Mac, then copy the image to Snagit in Windows, and edit/save it. Major bummer...Â
If Movavi id compatible with itself across the two platforms, I might easily switch!
One thing that bothers me about Movavi... I can't seem to find prices on their web site...
