Re: HyperDrive Thunderbolt 3 USB-C Hub for new MacBook Pros ?
Amazon sells a 40-watt USB-C charger with four regular USB ports (so you can charge your phone at the same time) for $26. USB-C cables cost under $10.
Hmm... The charger I was told (by the Apple person on the phone) to purchase is 87 watt. I don't remember enough of my EE to know if the only effective difference would be how long it took to charge? But certainly this is an apples-to-oranges comparison.
But all is ordered now, and I simply await its arrival :-).
