Hello, WR-L-ers,

I know that this has been discussed a lot on this list, but Iâve got a few focused questions that Iâd like to ask about running a VM w/Windows on a Mac (so as to use Windows apps such as Flare):

1. If I buy a product such as Parallels (https://www.amazon.com/Parallels-Desktop-12-for-Mac/dp/B01KICH63S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489594900&sr=8-1&keywords=parallels), I still need to purchase Windows and install it, right? (That is, the Parallels software doesnât include the Windows OS?)

2. Whatâs the difference in ordering Parallels âMacâ vs. Parallels âMack key Cardâ? Both are downloads, so I donât understand why the Key Card is $33 less?

3. I know that there are free/OS VMs available, and Iâm assuming that theyâre a little trickier to configure, or donât have the performance, or something?

4. Anything else I should research/consider?

Thanks!
-Monique
